Prince William
Affordable Housing Projects
Families for Affordable Housing supports new affordable housing and workforce housing projects throughout the county that help to bridge the gap in the availability of homes.
Highpointe at Haymarket
Currently, it is the only affordable housing project proposed for Western Prince William County. Highpointe at Haymarket will bring 144 units of desperately-needed workforce and affordable housing to an area of that county where virtually none exist today.
The HighPointe at Haymarket will allow public servants, teachers, police officers, and firefighters to work and live in the communities they serve by providing modern units for individuals earning between 40-80% of Area Median Income.
Park Landing
Park Landing will offer 250 well-appointed apartment homes for active adults over age 55, including 151 two-bedroom and 99 one-bedroom apartments.
Units will be reserved for households with incomes not to exceed 60 percent of the Area Median Income. Under the 2022 Area Median Income, this translates to a maximum annual income of $59,820 for a one-person household, $68,340 for a two-person household, and $76,860 for a three-person household.
Park Landing will increase Prince William County’s supply of affordable senior housing by nearly 40%.
